What to Serve with Gazpacho - 20 Delicious Ideas

Jul 22, 2022 · by Valentina · 22 Comments

Not sure what to serve with gazpacho? I have 20 delicious options for you. The chilled Spanish soup is an excellent and delicious choice for part of a refreshing summer meal. Tomato Gazpacho recipe in a blue and white bowl with diced aocados, tomatoes and onion on top

Gazpacho is a Spanish soup that originated in Andalusia in southern Spain.

The original version of Gazpacho was made of stale bread, garlic, olive oil, and a liquid of some sort -- most likely water and vinegar. And any vegetables that were available were also included.

Here are two of my favorite gazpacho recipes:

  • Easy Tomato Gazpacho
  • Avocado Gazpacho

What goes well with gazpacho?

My favorite way to serve Gazpacho is with a delicious crusty bread and a salad.

Since cold soups like gazpacho are usually served on a warm or hot summer day, I think the whole meal should involve little to no heat.

From all sorts of salads and crusty breads, to grilled vegetables and light sandwiches, here are 20 delicious ideas for what to serve with gazpacho, with something for everyone.

Off we go . . . .

My mom started making gazpacho in the 1970s ---and we all loved it (especially with homemade croutons). I haven't made a batch in a couple of years, but now I have a great list of dishes to serve with it!! So yummy!

I haven't made gazpacho in several years. When I serve it as a main course, good bread with olive oil or butter is enough for me. When I serve it as a first course, grilled chicken (served either hot or cold) always works well as the main. But I'll eat it with anything! 🙂

While I adore gazpacho (and need to try your versions immediately!), I do like to serve them with a side for extra heft. You've offered some beautiful options! First up for me is the Asiago Cheese Bread...or maybe the Fioretto Cauliflower Salad with Lemon...or...SO many I want to try.
