Day four of the Idaho Potato Harvest Tour was mostly about soaking up a beautiful morning at Teton Springs Lodge.
This was the view from my cabin window when I woke up on day four.
I hope you've enjoyed traveling with me through the potato fields on the Idaho Potato Harvest Tour! And in case you missed it, you can catch up on days one, two and three, here, here and here.
Teton Springs
Day four in Idaho was mostly about getting to the airport and getting home. That said, how could I leave out the beauty of our last morning at the Teton Springs Lodge!? I mean, just look at it!
I was up and out the moment I saw the snow, and I took my time walking over to the cozy spa restaurant for breakfast.
It didn't matter to me that it was cold and wet -- I sat outside on the restaurant deck to drink my steaming cup of coffee.
I love where in live in Los Angeles, and I promise I'm not complaining about the almost year-round sunshine, but waking up to snow, and being surrounded by trees in a million different colors, was thrilling.
And what a delicious cup of coffee it was.
Such a beautiful spot.
Only thirty minutes later, the snow on the ground had melted. This might be my favorite picture from the trip -- the Idaho sky, snow capped trees on the mountains, and fall colors on the ground.
The Idaho Potato Harvest Tour was extremely educational and so much fun!
A big thank you to the Idaho Potato Commission for inviting me on this amazing potato adventure through your beautiful state!
